Sue Crismon the executive director at the Office of Legal Services Innovation and a former trial attorney at Salt Lake Legal Defender Association. Prior to working in criminal defense, she was the Director of Pro Bono Programs at Utah Legal Services where she worked on various access to justice projects and policy initiatives. Sue graduated from Weber State University with a degree in criminal justice and received her law degree from Northeastern University in Boston Massachusetts, where she interned with the Youth Advocacy Project of the Public Defender’s Office in Boston, MA and the Legal Resources Centre in Grahamstown, South Africa. Sue is a member of the Pro Bono Commission, the Committee on Resources for Self-Represented Parties, the Utah Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the Watkiss-Sutherland II Inn of Court. She has presented at various conferences including the ABA/NALDA Equal Justice Conference and has received the 2012 Committee of the Year Award, the 2012 Attorney Service Award, and the 2016 Young Lawyer of the Year Award for her work in pro bono policy.
